In Cesarean Surgery

As is usual, the American Congress of Obstetricians & Gynecologists hasn’t made its guidelines publically available. A Medscape article, however, states that the Bulletin affirms the value of instrumental vaginal delivery in safely avoiding cesarean surgery and lists some of the Bulletin’s key recommendations.

CBU comment: This is all well and good, but so many years with an extremely low instrumental vaginal delivery rate in the U.S. raises the question of whether today’s OBs have the necessary know-how.
